Fisher and paykel 913T soft touch dishwasher leaking

My unit seems to be leaking in front bottom corners . As I have purched second hand I was wondering if a lower rubber door seal should exist ANYWHERE on the lower door section or the body to stop tray and spray water leaking from the corners of the door .\ Thanks Gilly3003

Dishwasher intermittently leaks at bottom left hand corner, allowing water to flow all over the floor. Seems to happen about once a week. At other times it works fine. To fix it I have drained standing water from the dishwasher and started it up again. Seems to run fine then. Could it be that a water outlet is blocked at times? Why would this not happen all the time?

My dishwasher also leaks occassionally. Only once or twice a week. Water flows out of bottom right corner onto floor. Seems to be a lot of water all at once, then stops. (it doesn't leak throughout the entire dishwashing cycle). Have checked dishwasher while draining and it seems to drain fine. Have checked underneath dishwasher and it is not leaking there. Only out the front bottom corner. Any help would be great!

My Kitchenaid dishwater started draining water from right lower corner onto the floor. I called and asked Kitchenaid if a food screen could be clogged. They said there is some sort of "disposal" in the dishwater that grinds up waste and wouldn't allow backup. Could the "disposal" be broken? Could it just be a door seal? H E L P!!! [email protected]

I had the same problem and replaced the door seal. You need to remove the front door to do this. Requires some 'handyman' experience.

The hoses could be kinked. Also check if something is in the filter below the utensil basket. Another possibility is the dishes are loaded higher than the top of the machine and when the cover comes down before a wash cycle it is not fully closing. This will cause water on the floor as it leaks inside the cabinet.

I had the exact problem with my dishwasher. The solution was to replace the bottom spray arm. The existing one was cracked and was jetting water at the door thus making it leak. Replacing it stopped the leaking.

How do I replace handle/plastic cover on Fisher and Paykel soft touch 913t dishwasher?

Not sure if you have tried to refer to the parts manual itself which shows how the parts are assembled together. In particular page 8 which shows the handle assembly part 18. I am assuming this is what you are replacing. Or is it just part 21 which is the plastic latch recess cover.

913T Dishwasher Stops after 10 seconds

913T is a very old model (1996), I have one, I'm not a repairer, I have the same fault. It doesn't have drawers or infrared or a display.
I've just shortened the ribbon cable, which had pinch damage at the door close pinch point. I used a male & female ribbon squeeze connector pair to make a good clean joint. With the cable fault it wasn't even starting the drain cycle. Now it does start, but then long beeps, and I suspect it's detecting a fault with the motor or a sensor or faulty wire, and is halting.
I've found running the rinse cycle first then allows the main wash cycle to run, no longer stopping at 10 seconds (after the initial drain), just as the first power wash commences.

My dishwasher is model DD603 and it turns on by

There is a water leak in the bottom housing and a leak sensor detects to give a F1. Pull out the tube and put your hand in the front from the left ( only on this side has enough room to access) with the small towel to dry out the water on the bottom housing. After dry out, unplug the power for at least 24 hours so the sensor can be dried out and reset. However, make sure to fix the leak from the top seal, otherwise, it keep happening.

I have a fisher paykel soft touch dishwasher about 10 years old. The F1 message came on and we have taken out the inside filters and cleaned enitirely., Was working fine until it came on by itself during...

The flood sensor is located below the bottom drawer. If you take the bottom drawer out and there is water in the pan then the flood switch is probably tripped. Soak up the water with a towel and apply a hair dryer towards the rear left corner of the cabinet. The flood switch is part of the Mains Filter control board and should not be messed with (even with the dishwasher unplugged)... There is an underlying problem that caused the F1 fault and you should have a technician look at it.

Fisher & Paykel DD603ZW DishDrawer - Leaking.

I removed all internal pieces from the drawers to make them as light as possible. Then removed the securing screws, 2 each side at lower drawers. (These secure the unit in position in its cove. Slide out bottom drawer and loosen height adjust screws each corner to lower unit and then slide out. I taped the drawers closed so they wouldn't open as I moved it. I lifted the front and put a heavy rag under the front legs which helped me draw it out. It helps if you have a second pair of hands. As you edge it out, ensure power and water supply hoses are clear of any obstructions. it's not that heavy just unwieldy. Chers, Craig from OZ.
