I have a Nokia 1100. I have 3 speed dials set up but cannot seem to set up a 4th one. When I go to Menu-Contacts-Speed Dials-Select, scroll to Key 4(empty), press Assign-Assign to Call I get an error. "Selected memory empty" and it will not let me enter a number or select anyone from my contact list to assign. It kicks me back to the main menu. How frustrating!! SMS produces the same result. "selected memory empty" and kicks you back to main menu. I have checked and the speed dial option is turned on. Any ideas?
I dont get stand by mode that is music cut symbol.
please i need help for this issue.

I do not know how to restore the factory settings or get new software. I am afraid of messing up my settings. Would I have to take it to a dealer or how would I restore and get new software?
