You probably just need to have the password reset in your voice mail box. This can be done through the administrator mailbox. If nobody at your office knows how to do this, we can help.

To access the System Administrator Mailbox: 1. Dial into voice mail: From any phone on system dial 150 2. When the system answers, dial [*] + [#] followed by the System Administrator Mailbox number: (# 0 0 ) The system will announce: "Mailbox 15-00", which is the System Administrator Mailbox number. 3. When requested, enter the System Administrator password. Default = [9]+[#]+[56]. There is no back door password .

3. Select the softkey under “Chng”
4. Enter the mailbox number you want to reset the password for
5. The display shows “Reset Password”
6. Select the softkey under “RESET”
7. Press the release key
*The new password will be “0000′, the system will ask the user to change
The following instructions will only work if your System Administrator password is set to the default. Usually the default is 0000. To Log Into System Administration: 1. Enter Feature 983 2. The display will show "LOG", enter your login password a. If your company extensions are 2 digits long enter "120000" b. If your company extensions are 3 digits long enter "1020000" c. If your company extensions are 4 digits long enter "10020000" 3. Press the softkey under "OK"

The display shows "Reset Password" 6. Select the softkey under "RESET" 7. Press the release key *The new password will be "0000", the system will ask the user to change this the first time they log into their mailbox using this password.
Go back to your vendor and get the password for mailbox 999 and the instructions to log into it.
The mailbox exists or it wouldn't ask for a password (they're assigned by default), so you need to go to mailbox 999 and chose option 6 1 3 which is mailbox administration reset password. That will clear the password and you can log into the voice mail automatically from the extension by dialing the voice mail access code.
There are two extra mailboxes in a Panasonic brand voice mail, one for the message manager and one for the sytsem manager.
You reset passwords from the system manager's mailbox. Dial into the system and key in the codes to get to the system manager's mailbox. and select option 6 1 1 and the mailbox number. One of the options will be to reset the password :-)
