Check out this link below to download a PDF manual, software, and more for your phone. Just copy and paste into your browser.

http://www.samsung.com/us/consumer/mobile/mobile-phones/at-t-phones/SGH-A777EGAATT/index.idx?pagetype=prd_detail&tab=support

Check out the section on Messaging page 65 in your manual:
Important!: When creating a message, adding an image, a sound file, or a video clip to a text message changes the message from a text
message to a multimedia message.

Important!: Adding an image, a sound file, or a video clip to a text message changes the message from a text message to a multimedia
message. This also changes the Options that appear in this menu.

Note: A multimedia message should only be sent to a phone which can
support the receipt and display of this message type.

Note: If you exit from this View screen, you will need to go to the Messaging ➔ Inbox screen, the Recent Calls screen, or you will need to dial your Voicemail contact to access your messages.

Note: Messages can also be accessed by navigating to your Inbox (Menu ➔ Messaging ➔ Inbox).

Messaging Settings page 72 in your manual:
You can set up various options for using messaging services.
1. When the Idle screen displays, press the Menu soft key,
then select Messaging ➔ Messaging Settings.
2. Select the type of message settings that you want to
change.
• Text Message
• Multimedia Message
• Voice Mail
• Push Message
• Broadcast Message (SIM card dependent)
3. Press the Select soft key or the key.

Hope this helps, let me know if I can help you with anything else. It would be very kind of you if this does work for you to please rate me or leave a short note. I would really appreciate it. Thank you for your time.

Not receiving or sending mulitimedia messages

its becuase you dont have the required settings from your network providor to send MMS,

all you need to do is go onto there website i.e vodafone and search for the settings page then put your mobile number in the box and press send when you get the settings you save or install them, or if your not technically minded you can give a quick call to your network and they will send them in a text message for you.
