How come my axis 9 cd players pitch control moves on its own?

i take it u know to press key when changing the tempo? if u press key it changes the tempo but keeps the pitch the same. i keep that on all the time. if i want to change the pick i hold key and press either + or -

Problem with numark cdn 88 disk loads but does not read

my best suggestion, if it won,t read any discs then it need repairing. go through your newmark retailer .they can normally get it fixed by numark. newmark players do go this way unfortunately. if it happens again ,don't buy cheaper models in future. i have had numreous problems with numark axis 9 cd players and in the end i replaced them with a different make.

Problem with numark axis 9!!

Hi, I’m from Yucatan, Mexico. I’ve always used Numark cd players, I have two Axis8 and two Axis9, and one day I had the same problem with an Axis9. I know a little bit about electronic so I opened the machine and began check it, I took the decision to change and electronic part, I took it from the another Axis9 which was working perfectly, this part is the memory, buffer, effects and it controls all the front panel, jog, play, pitch, etc. I discovered the problem, this electronic circuit part was wrong, I thought that it was impossible to repair so I began to investigate. I visited Numark web site, they sell any electronic part you need, I bought a new one from Numark Company for 200 dollars, and this is the most expensive. They sell parts for Dual Players, Axis, CDX, Mixers, etc. If I not wrong you need this part, now it costs 174 dollars: TWPC01C04603 PCB, Effects/Buffer - Axis 9 (Red) | I got it and my Axis9 works like new again!!! Good luck with yours!

Pitch slider not working

lol just select pitch and press plus or minus to the desired pitch range and if you want to take off key lock just press keylock till you dont see the keylock symbol.

Cd loads, then spins cd super fast and doesnt read it. If I press eject the cd comes out onto the tray still spinning. Also, if I hold the CD into the tray while holding the tray up while closing, it might work sometimes but it almost never does.
