In wii tennis, the game is inconsistent. Sometimes I have a strong back hand and the next time I play it is weak. Same with the forehand.

Wait till the ball is at the peak of its height right when it is completely motionless to swing, then you make an ace service.

The skill level won't change

Everytime you win a tennis match, your skill level will go up. The higher the skill/the strength of your wins will determine what skill level you face next. Bowling skill ranks are determined on how well you do in each game. Once you reach PRO, you get a sparkling ball. Keep trying at both Tennis and Bowling and you should see your skill rating start to rise. Good Luck!

Wii is playing all games on auto

For Shrek I don't know, but for Wii tenis, I know that you can set the players to be cpu or player conrolled. I guess your daughter has set all of them to be controlled by the cpu. I think when you're setting up a game in wii tennis and you see all the players standing on the court (still in the menu screen) check to see if it says player or CPU.

Good luck.

Caid.

My wii remote

@ Slivic22
Some games does not use Sensor Bar pointing because they play with motion/accelerometer only. After you select the number of sets on Wii Sports Tennis, there is no Sensor Bar pointing except for Pause menu. That's because you Swing the remote like a racket.
