Good Morning Ronald, thank you for your inquiry! Generally, PF means power failure and you should be able to start a cycle. Unplug the unit or flip the household circuit breaker. Wait about ten minutes and then turn the unit back on. If the error code continues to display, I would suggest contacting a professional to accurately diagnose and repair it since it could possibly be experiencing a communication problem with the EOC (electronic oven control) or a potential wiring failure.
SOURCE: MODEL NUMBER FEFL89CCB. THE OVEN WILL NOT HEAT
Hello hriley2214,
I just want to clarify the problem before moving forward. The oven will not heat either in bake, broil, or convection, correct ?
How about the cooktop, does it function normally ? As does the clock/timer ?
Let me know and I can try and assist you further with that info.
Thank you,
macmarkus :)

I appreciate your inquiry, J.J!
From what you have described your Frigidaire oven is displaying an error code of "PF" and you just installed the control panel. A "PF" error code stands for power failure. This could be a possible problem with your control panel and power source. You may need to perform a reset on your oven and you can do that by flipping the household circuit breaker off for at least ten minutes. If this does not help resolve your issue I would recommend having a professional technician out to perform a proper diagnosis and repair. I hope this information is helpful to you. -Matt
Good Morning Paul, thank you for your post!
Based off what you have described your Frigidaire range, PLES389DCC, is providing you with an error code of "PF" and "F1" as soon as you turn it on. An error code of "PF" stands for power failure this could be a possible problem with your control panel or power cord.
The error code "F1" stands for a runaway temperature (overheating). This could be an issue with your RTD (Resistance Temperature Detector) or the EOC (Electronic Oven Control). I would recommend performing a reset on your oven and you can do that by disconnecting from your oven for ten minutes. If you continue to have issues with the "F1" error code I would recommend having a professional technician out to your home for proper diagnosis and replacement of any electrical components. Hopefully this information has been helpful. -Matt
