Question about HP OfficeJet 6110 All-In-One InkJet Printer
Did all troubleshooting on hp website, went through it again with tech support, reset printer, tried new cartridges. Tech. support told me it was the printer and there is no fix...any ideas on what is wrong with printer and how to fix. The problem is on the color cartridge side.
Yo9u told what what you did to cure your problem but you did not tell us what the problem was in any detail- what about the colour cartridge?

Detail what software[ in the computer] has for monitoring the cartridge.if there is any- at all.
Meanwhile you could try two things.
1. on the printer - remove the cartridge. and carefully clean wher the cartridge side contacts go- make sure they are clean and if they appear to movable pins non are stuck in the depressed position.
2. Go to Start/Printers and Faxes'open the folder and click on 'Install new printer'
When you get select from CD or list come up
Choose - select from list.
Go to Make- HP
Select Model 6110
Click OK and make it the default printer

I have a hp 6110 and I keep getting a "check cartridge" message. I have been able to determine that the problem is not the printer cartridges as I have tried 3 different ones and still have the same problem.
I followed instructions that worked on this site, which fixer got from an HP Korean site, and it worked right thru seeing "Full Reset" on the screen. But now the screen says nothing and none of the buttons will respond. The Auto Answer button is lit so I know the power is there.
Have same problem. Remove and check cartrodge msg keeps coming on and I cannot fix it. What to do?
