GE Fridge #GSS25LGMBWW water and ice control panel not working

The control panel for the water and ice is not working. It start by working every other time I went to use it and now it does not work at all. I test the wiring behind the control board and it has 13V. DC. But how can I tell which part is bad, there is the circuit board which cost $90 or the board that has the buttons on it which cost $70. Please let me know what you think.

Your dispensor board , has lost communication to the main control board . You will need to replace the board , which is located behind the refrig , behind the 8 " X 10 " , small panel . The pt # is WR55X10942 . You do NOT need to replace the board on the dispensor . The board behind the refrig , is , easily replaceable .

I am having the same problem and believe you need to replace the circuit board with the one with the buttons. However, I can't find it. GE no longer makes it. Where did you find it?

GE Fridge water dispenser working but not the ice
Yes you most likely have a defective dual water control valve. Look around the inside of the refrigerator for a model number.

    Once you find the model number I will be able to tell you what part number the dual dual water control valve is or if your ice maker assist you in testing ice maker. If ice Maker is empty try filling with tap water to top edges of ice maker, allow water to freeze and if the ice drops into the ice bin but does not refill with water automatically I would say that the dual water control valve will need replaced. If your ice maker has old shrinking ice from a few days ago it will point to an ice maker problem.

    My ice maker stopped making ice. The water is there and turned on. You can get water from the door dispenser. The ice maker switch is on, and the light is on. The ice tray is fully seated. What gives?

    Need help finding the defrost timer in GE fridge !!
    frigidaire Model frs22zrg Water leaking into the the dispenser (where you put the glass. Also the ice dispenser become iced and where the ice comes out.

    The moisture is inside of the freezer part, may need a time or the heating coil is not working.

    ok try this for me and let me know how it works there is a water tank in the fridge and on installation you have to hold down the water for about 5mins to fill it up now the ice disp will be a separate issue hold my rating and let me know if your water flowes first

    GE GSH22JSRE Refrigerator Ice / Water Dispensing Issue
    I have the same issues as above, ice maker makes ice but will not dispence or give water,

    when I push the lever to get anything the lights go out and the fans slows or stops until I let go of lever.
