Re: kenmore series 80 washer: does not twist in the...
Check the agitator by turning it back and forth. It should work like a
ratchet (turns one way, locks the other way).If you're able to turn it
in both directions, the agitator dogs are worn and need to be replaced.
Remove the agitator cap and the bolt that holds down the
agitator. With the bolt out you can remove the top section of the
agitator (auger) where you should see 4 small white or beige plastic
gears (dogs). Replace those and it should be ok.

That does not sound good. New dogs sound great, but you must get to the bottom of why the clothes are becoming twisted on the agitator. Usually not enough WATER. Think loose flow of clothes submerged.
Long story short, you cannot jam pack this machine. Less clothes, more water, will equal long life.
Be sure that the mating teeth for the dogs, is not damaged. Slipping here would make loud noise.
More water, less clothes.
I had the same problem with the Manfrotto 685B, and it was due to the grease from the middle section leaking into its locking mechanism. I fixed the problem by:
1. Detach the middle from the bottom section by twisting the metal hub between them counterclockwise.
2. Wipe the grease off from the middle section's locking mechanism, especially from the three gray protrusions.
3. Use a bit of dish detergent to degrease the inside shaft of the bottom section.
4. Dry thoroughly.
5. Reassemble the section back, pressing the monopod release lever to facilitate the insertion. Reclose the metal hub.
The calculator HP10s has 7 attachments. 4 in sides, 2 in the upper part and one in the lower part. First you need to remove the screws, then you have to push the attachment in the lower part and continue with the ones that are in the sides.
Grab the upper and lower conic sections, one in each hand. Twist the lower section clockwise to remove from the upper section. The filter is in the section - remove and empty, then replace and twist back to close and lock.
