Hi, I recently updated my firmware from the sonywebsite to 3.0 for canadian models and now my interface is in chinese (i think). trying to change it to english. If anyone can assist me i would really appreciate it. I already download 2 different firmware and that didnt help.

I too had this problem and came here to look for answers, saw that stupid reply and got inspired to solve the problem myself!!!
Hey pal, turn your walkman over (upside down)...see where it says HOLD (its printed into the molding--mine is grey) see the little area directly to the left of the HOLD (note it has three little dots ---there is actually a little arrow pointing to it. Adjust this little area and it should release the hold on the cd. Mine's working again. Hope this helps!

U need to loigin as admin and uninstall and reinstall the softw in a diff location and relocate the database
