I understand that your Frigidaire refrigerator is flashing a "4" and you would like to know what that means. The "4" on your display means that there is a damper failure within your refrigerator and I would recommend checking the damper in the rear of the refrigerator to assure it is opening and closing. The damper is located in the back of your refrigerator. I would place your hand back there to assure it is blowing cold air into your refrigerator.
If the damper is not working it could be a potential issue with your damper, main control board, or wiring harness. I would then recommend performing a reset on your refrigerator. You can do that by unplugging the power cord for roughly ten minutes. Generally, error code 4 means that the refrigerator is experiencing an issue with the damper. The damper is either not opening or closing properly causing the fridge compartment to not cool. One of the best ways to determine if this is a false error code is to reset the power to your refrigerator by either unplugging it or flipping off the breaker for about 30 seconds. If the error code persists, the wiring between the damper and Main Control Board will need to be diagnosed by a professional. Depending on the results, either the damper or Main Control Board will need replacing.

The wiring between the main control board and user interface board will need to be accurately diagnosis. Depending on the results either or will need replacing. At this point, I strongly recommend connecting a professional to move forward accurately and to properly assist with the repair(s).
