Labtec Problema I used the Labtec camera for months with no problem. Then I wanted to check another web cam that I bought. I installed it, tired it, didn't like it , then unistalled the prgm. Now my Labtec says that a problem occurred while installing the hardware and that my camera may not work properly. The cpmputer does not recognize that the camera is plugged in. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, repairs, drivers, different USB ports.......nothing.

try to google it, or go to the cams website and see if they provide an installation software for their cameras there had the same problem with my webcam, couldnt find the the installation cd for my cam, but found the installation file at this place www.softpedia.com, try it maybe it will help.
Hi. Labtec does not exist anymore, as it was bought out by Logitech. So, you're not going to find any updated drivers for Labtec devices because Logitech discontinued all of the products. Unless you have the installation CD that came with the camera and it miraculously works, you may be out of luck. Sorry.
That being said, web cams are pretty cheap these days, so you may want to upgrade anyway.
Scroll to the bottom of the page. Your camera is listed with several others that have the same driver file. Select your operating system and language. Then Download. It is a large file (63-72 MB) so be patient.
Now using the supplied disk install the camera software but please do not connect the camera YET, if the camera is already connected,
remove the camera and reboot,
so you installed the camera software now plug the usb camera in, it will now detect the install camera software and work.
You microphone is working, your family camera is working, your camera is not working.
if you installed the correct drivers and program that came with the camera, the program should have a walk through while installing, it should test the settings of your camera.
If not open the labtec program and test the settings. If there is no Labtec program installed on your PC, you will need to install that software.

lost my disk 2 install what do i do
