When an incoming fax is stored temporarily in the printer's memory, chances are, one of your cartridges has low ink level. To retrieve stored faxes, current state of printer must be on the instance when the fax is temporarily sent to printer's memory. Replace your low-ink cartridge without navigating away from the Fax function. Once you have replaced the cartridge, press Ok button to continue printing the fax.
The only way to check old transfer info for faxes is by printing out the journal. The way to do this varies from fax to fax, but most often is either with it's own button "reports" (and then "fax journal"), or by choosing "print reports" in the regular menu.
The journal is emptied during power outs, so if you have had a power failure since, you cannot get the information.
Additionally, the only info you will get from this is to where/from where the fax was sent, and if it was successful. Any information on the actual fax content is unavailable.
You have sent a fax? Or you have received a fax. If you have sent it, it's gone and can't be printed. If you have received it, then you obviously have to put legal paper in the tray, and program the paper size in your system settings to tell the machine it is Legal paper in the tray. However, once again, if it has already printed the fax (likely on 2 pages) then it's gone from memory and can't be re-printed.
Unplug the power cord from the back of the machine for 30 seconds. Put your finger on the stop key first and then re plug the machine, hold the stop key until the time and date return to the LCD. Do not worry about losing any faxes the machine can be powered off up to four days without losing faxes in memory.
