Question about Kodak I260 Captiva IA-Express Path-Through Scanner
When the 'paper-dust' settles on the rubber rollers, they tend to squeak!. Blow/**** using a vaccum cleaner. Even after this if the squeaking persists, then apply 1 drop of a good lubricating oil, which is not very viscous. Watch oil is ideal. Ensure that only a drop is added just to lubricate. Excess oil can damage your documents and/or scanner. Ensure there is no bend in the roller. If there is a bend, you have to replace the roller.

Don't worry; this is a common problem in elliptical
trainers. Over time, parts of the
machine may start to squeak. I am going
to attach a how-to guide that will explain what to do when this happens.
