I have this Mitsubishi ws-55313 and lately, it's brgun cycling the screen format by itself, and sometimes, it's the video menu cycling around and around. I have to turn off the tv , wait a few seconds and turn it back on. Is there any known issues regarding this problem? Help!
exact same problem, same model (WS-55313), format is cycling by itself constantly. Turning the tv off for a few seconds no longer fixes the problem. I have not changed the cables in any way. No other problem. Mitsubishi referred me to 3 service people all of whom say I must bring the TV to the store (40 miles away) and can't estimate repair price so I don't know if it's worth it. Original place of purchase (B.Buy) will not service Mitsubishis. Is there an easy fix from home? Or should I just scrap it?exact same problem, same model (WS-55313), format is cycling by itself constantly. Turning the tv off for a few seconds no longer fixes the problem. Pressed the ff on the tv remote...Menu 0370...be careful in selecting an option...have to make sure that what you are going to highlight or select is initial..selecting E2 reset would render your tv unusable..don't attemp to make any other changes on the service menu...JUST SELECT INITIAL..no other option should be selected on the service menu screen.

A WS-55413 LENTICULAR SCREEN IS $171.10 + DELIVERY BUT THE DIAMOND SHIELD ISNT NEEDED THEY TELL ME AND IT WAS DISCONTINUED ANYWAYS BUT YOUR PART IS PROBABLY AVAILABLE THERE.
Well not sure what is causing the problem but i think the simple solution is to change your power management settings. I set mine to shut off as well if there is no input signal but the only way it goes to the 2 min. warning is if the cable box is off or its not getting any signal.
