First, please double check if the part/board no. (
SSR-9010A-M2) is the same as the original one. If yes, then other parts gone bad also aside from the power supply board. This is caused by faulty convergence chips (
STK394-250) on the deflection board (part no.
SSR-2510A-M2). Your unit used two convergence chips that is mounted on the large aluminum heat sink behind the flyback transformer.
I would advice you to replace both the convergence chip.
You need to prepare the following :
1. Necessary tools and test instrument2. Soldering Iron3. Desoldering pump4. soldering lead5.
Thermal paste.6. 2 pcs
STK394-250Soldering TutorialHow to desolder parts on the boardLet the unit unplug from the outlet at least 1 hour to drain the voltages from the power supply board. Familiarize all connectors (take a picture of it if necessary to guide you replacing the connectors).
