WRT150N Linksys router disables internet?

I just come home on day hoping to check my email (like usual), and i realized my internet was out. I was hoping that power cycling the router and modem would help, so i did that and BOOM! it was working again...at least for the next 5 mins. Then it happened again.. So i called up my ISP (Rogers, if you need to know) and all they told me to do was powercycle it...no help...same issue.
So after i tried connecting modem to computer. It worked beautifully ...for 30 mins. Then it died. Any help? please? Also, maybe if you should know, the connection APPEARS to be connected on the "Network Connections" in the Control Panel but sometimes it says that the internet gateway is disabled...enable it doesn't help (it won't enable). Thanks in advance!

Please try the following:
1. Download the latest firmware for your router from linksys website, with the direct connection.

2. Connect the computer back to router, upgrade the firmware.

3. Then powercycle modem, router and check internet connectivity.

The above steps should help. If not, please let me know.

You can try to reset your router
Reset the Linksys WRT150N wireless home router if you are experiencing connection issues or have forgotten your customized router login information. Resetting the Linksys WRT150N will erase your Internet connection settings, wireless security preferences and all other personal settings from the router. This procedure will restore the WRT150N back to its factory state.
Instructions
1 Locate the "Reset" button on the back panel of the router. The button is situated to the right of the Ethernet ports and to the left of the power port.
2 Press and hold the "Reset" button.
3 Release the "Reset" button after approximately five seconds. The device resets

Tips & Warnings
Use the Linksys WRT150N setup CD-ROM to run the setup wizard and reconfigure the router after the reset.

I have a WRT 150N wireless router. it is not putting out a network but i can connect to the internet with one of the lan line ports

Connect to the router via the admin screen and select the wireless tab. Check to see if wireless is set to disable or to a setting that is not compatable with your PC/laptop wireless card.

Hope that helps and thanks for using FixYa

Cannot access internet with a linksys router

Make sure DHCP is turned off on the modem or else you will get ip conflicts. Also make sure it is plugged into the wan port on the router

Wrt150n dd-wrt firmware slow loading pages

First off thanks for using fixya.com

Second, I too am a dd-wrt user and found a similar problem when using dd-wrt with my IPCOP. You may want to go into the "Security" section of your dd-wrt and disable any fire walling or access-restrictions. Since you are already running zonealarm. Or remove zonealarm if you plan to use dd-wrt as your firewall.

Running multiple firewalls will slow down your network/Internet traffic.

Hope this helps you out.
