My singer ce-100 embriodery machine goes out of the lines when embroidering. It will do ok till almost the end of the design and it goes way out of the lines of the design. For example: if i'm embroidering a flower, it will almost complete the design until the last two petals, and it will embroid them completely away from the design of the flower. What could be the problem, and if it need to be taken to a service center, where is one in Mississippi or Tenn.that i can take it to?
we have an endurance 2 embirodery machine.. has two frames.. a and b when do you use them. also, everytime we enter a design to embriodery it says you need to change to another frame when it is showing that the design is within the framewe have an endurance 2 embirodery machine.. has two frames.. a and b when do you use them. also, everytime we enter a design to embriodery it says you need to change to another frame when it is showing that the design is within the frame

You can skip color blocks that you have already embroidered. When you get to the one you were working on when the machine was turned off, send it to the machine and use the needle down button to advance the design to the point when you stopped. Then you can hit the green button and proceed.
One of the things they don't really tell you about embroidering with the singer machines is that you really do need to use the same color in both the bobbin and the top. No matter how much you adjust the tension, you will still end up with some of the thread from both showing through on the other side, unlike with most other machines.
I found this out from a Singer technician about 3 years ago when I had the same problem with my CE 150 and was going nuts! He worked with both Singers, Vikings and Huskvarna's. and saved my sanity after demonstrating a lot of technical stuff that basically showed me why Singers did this.
Save your sanity-just bite the bullet and use the same thread in the bobbin as you do in the top.
Make sure you're adjusting your tension to the "E" setting. Also be sure you have dropped the feed dog (refer to the user's manual for the setup for embroidery).
Sounds like your tension is too tight and the thread is pulling your needle. Also, make your that you needle position button is on center. If it is on left or right it will cause your needle to snap.
I decided to simply start from the beginning and start all over. I turned off the machine, detached the embroidery unit and blew into the sensor (where the machine and embroidery unit connect). I'm not sure what the problem was, but it was fine after that! Just goes to show that no matter how frustrating things can be, it pays to just take a moment and start over!!
could be a threading problem. on the top of the machine, where you go under the plate, pull the thread back and forth like you are flossing. you should feel the thread snap around the 2 wheels, then continue threading. hope it helps
brothers frame is much smaller I think 4 x 4. I have futura 200. found this to happen at first but now now. Make sure when threading that you floss the thread through the top part, it has plastic over it. The thread must fit properly in this part. (flossing means to run back and forth a couple of times holding thread tightly). Also, hold the 2 thread ends when you first start to embroider. Hope this helps
I have had the same problem. I always just used the same color of bobbin thread as on the top. It is a pain to change inbetween each block, but the designs usually look perfect. I will have to try playing with the tension.
Under the embroidery attachement (on the front side) is a lever to engage or disengage the "feed dog control." When embroidering, you need to move the lever to the level to disengage. The feed dog control should only be at the righe side position, or raised when you are not using the embroidery attatchment.
