My Canon Laser Shot Printer only prints black page only. Please help.
My computer only prints the full page in black, I scanned my computer and cannot find any virus on it. I re-installed the printer driver and it still print out black page only no matter what kind of software am I using(even thought there is only a few letter on the document). Anyone have idea how can I solve it? Thanks!
Re: My Canon Laser Shot Printer only prints black page...
Have you tried a different print cartridge? Usually a black page from a laser printer is caused by the drum in the cartridge not recieving the correct voltage. Try borrowing one from someone if you don't have another to try.

Scanning to the computer is done through the printer menu of the software you loaded to the computer when you installed the printer in the computer. The menu item you want is called "MP Navigator" and it is in printer "Canon Utilities" menu
First you removed old driver and PC restart and some time wait restart PC and Installation before PC full scan and removed it virus if virus available in PC then be be not proper driver installed or many error show, better of virus remove then installed driver. Driver installation after check it ink label if ink shoot then not any print if ink available or not print then open printer cartridge or check it damage you ink cartridge.
Print heads alignment completes after scanning fully printed align page. In this case all colors are not printing due to cartridges faulty.. You need to replace both cartridges at a time to this types of errors..
Browse below link, select OS, download full feature drivers.. save it..Installation procedure: Un plug USB cable, un install loaded drivers through control panel. Restart the system run the drivers, connect the USB cable when its appears on screen run rest of the drivers.. once installed check for icon in printer drivers.. print test page & confirm for the print as well as check for the scan...Link: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?product=3418707&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&lang=en&cc=us
It sounds like the message to me that the printer and the pc are not communicating very well and when you went to print your 54 page document your printer could not handle such a big file there is a communication error between them both. have you updated your printer drivers ? have you run a virus scan on the document ? you might have a virus in one of the drivers for your printer ! what I would do is uninstall your printer from your pc go to add & remove programs remove your printer and then go to the HP website and fully download your software again for your printer when you go on to the HP website type in your printer model number and ask for a set up disk for your printer so just type in instalation disk for
HP Deskjet F390 it will cost you nothing this website will make sure you get everything you need to fully install your drivers back into your pc and any updates that you are missing hope that helps
