Hi has any one seen this problem with I eye ? For some reason it always seems very dark at night time and during the day time as well as if it does not work. Occassionally in the day time the picture appears ok, but if you put your hand over the sensor it changes all the settings and suddenly is very dark. Is the purpose of I eye to adjust the screen to the room lighting conditions i.e if you are watching tv in the dark it should brighten the picture up ? It was working fine up untill 3 weeks ago but since then has not worked. I called the place where i bought the tv from and he says i should put up with it as he has the same tv and it does the same ! Surely not, help ....

Hello, First, don't turn on this Night Owl NODS3 during the day...Bright lights
will destroy the image intensifier tube in mill-seconds. It used on during the
dark hours of the night and look at bright city lights on the poles on homes.
You have two button; one with have o/1 (on/off) then the second but would be
the IR light and it will have the IR on and some time there will be another
button mark A and this button is used to enhance the image.
To turn on the button--all you have to do is to push it. Only in a dark room
with IR button on. and only in the dark of the night. If it doesn't work then
let me know [email protected] send me a

There are several causes for blurry vision during dim/low light conditions.
The refractive power of the eye changes in the dark. That is because the pupil dilates and changes the eye's aperture. In dim light nearsighted people become MORE nearsighted. They call this NIGHT MYOPIA. Some folks who do not need daytime glasses still need a nighttime prescription.
Radiologists experience this phenomenon because they work in darkened rooms most of the day.
Some other medical conditions can worsen eyesight in the dark. Two quick things include poor nutrition (especially low levels of Vitamin A) and any kind of optic nerve problem (light desaturation). Dr. Easton can exclude both of these possibilities in a single visit.
A second thought, people who complain of blurred or disoriented vision may have an undiagnosed minor alignment problem with their eye muscles. This is called a LATENT TROPIA. When tired, drunk, stressed, sick, or overmedicated, some folk" eyes become slightly crooked. The deviation is too small to see in a mirror, but big enough to make things very blurry.
Eyepieces ALWAYS go into the focuser. Put the eyepiece with the largest number written on it into the telescope. Take it outside during the day time and practice focusing on a distant object.
The moon should be your first target at night. Read my TIPS on my profile page.
I have a 1997 cadillac deville that has both 'daytime running lamps' when put into gear and 'twilight sentinel' which turns the headlamps and parking lamps on at night, and goes off during the day or when it is bright enough.
There is an adjustable delay for the twilight sentinel to turn the headlights off after the ignition key is removed and it is night time.
---
I had the 'daytime running lamps' installed on a 1990 Cadillac Deville that turns the headlamps only on when the ignition key is switched to on with an aftermarket module. The headlamps are about 70% or so as bright as the regular twiilight sentinel headlamps and parking lights and are designed to go on during the day.
The twilight sentinel overrides this feature when it gets dark outside.
I had the daytime running lamps installed by an auto electric shop that specializes in electrical systems, alarms, stereos, etc.
I don't know the answer to this question, but all I do is disconnect my battery everytime I have issue with my Jimmy and it seems to fix the problem. I don't know if this is going to help you or not but give it shot. disconnect your battery for 5 minutes and see what it will do.
