Unable to find the drivers for my sony dcr-hc38 camcorder

I dont have the cd which is comes by the package.i need a drivers for my camcorder but i am unable to find it.

    I dont have the CD that cames with DCR-HC38 and its imposible to find driver on Sony's Webpage.



    Can anybody help me to find the driver only.

First of all you must go to Play Mode' of your Digital Cam.Then goto Menu on your screen and change the option USB STREAM from 'OFF' to 'ON'.
Now plug your Camera to USB windows will detect it.

Whenever i load the picture package from CD provided with my handycam DCR-HC32E, PC required to be formatted and i am unable to download the pictures from handycam.
If you dont want to lost pictures and videos, I sugges check in Sony site the right procedure: sonycom/support/faq/301204

Also, there you can download the USB drivers.

Hi....
The dcr-hc38 is a minidv camcorder that usea a minidv tape. There is no "delete" on tape camcorders. You simply record over the tape. Or if you want to get rid of a recorded section on the tape you dont want, find out the exact minutes/seconds display of the section you dont want and just record over the section with the lens cap on.  To fully edit the tape, you will need to upload to your computer and use the editing software that came with your camcorder.

You need "Picture Package" software supplied with Sony camera to transfer video files in to PC. If you have software CD, please install it and connect your camrea with USB port.
If you dont have CD, check following Sony official weblink to download USB Driver, though it will not give you proper control on file transfer procedure yet it do help you to connect camera with PC.
