I own a ws-55908 mitsubishi hd tv and it bowes from the top and bottom of the screen. If I smack it, will go back to normal and then go back to bowing after a few minutes or it just will not do it all. Plase help me it drives me crazy
Usually consumer described bowing is bad solder connects on pins of convergence IC's. If the effort is made to pull the center PC board out, then replace both Stk392-570 IC's for durability. Note: V-Pin amp and pin out relates to left/right side bowed-in issues,a problem not usually found on your model.

If the picture bows in from the top and bottom, the V-PIN amp has stopped working. If you smack the set and the bow goes away, it means that the V-PIN circuits are intermittent because of a cracked solder joint, most likely on one of the 2 output transistors. The set needs to be disassembled, the chassis pulled out and flipped over and the solder joints of all parts on heat sinks must be resoldered. If you have never done anything like that before, allow a qualified tech to handle it for you.
