Hi, the next thing to try if the memory module is ok, is your graphics/video card. both the memory and graphics card can cause simalar problems.

the K7VMM version 1.2A has a cpu socket 462 for AMD Athlon XP/ Athlon / Duron processor

and use the ECS search box with your model # K7VMM then choose your version #, click it

Hi, it sounds like your RAM chips are not installed properly or are faulty, if you have 2 seperate sticks of RAM, remove them and install one at a time to test which one is at fault. make sure you use DIMM 1 for each RAM stick.
