I have a Black and Decker ODC400 that I need to slide out of the bracket that holds it under the shelf but I can't seem to find the release for it. HELP!!
There's no release. Rock the bottom of the unit forward then pull towards you and it should come free. The catch is actually at the top of the unit where it meets the slides on either side.

1. To remove unit from mounting bracket (for service or cleaning), first remove the thermal carafe. Slide your hand under the unit for support. Slide unit forward on its track guides to remove.
2. To replace the unit, slide it onto mounting bracket and all the way back until it locks into place.
Your right that they do not provide any specific instruction on whether there is a lock to release. I suspect you need to lift the unit up in the tracks before you pull forward.
The machine slides into the side brackets and drops into slots on either side. Lift the entire unit up a half-inch or so and slide it forward (toward you).
There is a black plastic switch where the blade is slid into the jigsaw. The black plastic switch can be seen and accessed from the front of the jigsaw through the clear plastic sight guide...You pull the black switch toward the bottom of the jigsaw and it opens the space for the blade to slide into, when you release the switch it will close the space and lock the blade into place.
as toasters make a lot of heat in operation , it would not be advisable to use it under counter
as for a bracket only from the manufacturer if available
mcdevito75 here, You can make sure the coffee maker is plugged inot the wall socket, check that the machine is in ready condition, pot in right place, filter in right place, also chech house fuses.

Grasp the coffeee maker assemby firmly and pull it froward (away from the wall). The The unit willl slide slightly forward in the hanging brackets leaving about 1/4 in of space exposed between the front of the hanging bracket and the main assembly. Insert a kitchen knife of flat-bladed screwdriver into that narrow space until you are pushing the plastic hanging bracket catch inwards, holding it there. If you are working alone, alternate this maneuver on the right and left sides while maintaining forward pulling pressure on the main assembly . It will eventually slide forward and out of the hanging brackets. It will be far easier and faster if you have a helper to help you push in both hanger bracket clips at the same time while keeping forward pulling pressure on the coffee maker. , because no one has three hands. Done this many times
