There are two possibilities. First, the camera's internal charger may be defective or second; there may be a defective circuit in the camera that is draining the battery. I would buy an external battery charger and try recharging the batteries outside of the camera. The chargers are not too expensive. If that does not solve the problem, you need to contact Nikon for repair information at 1-800-Nikon-US (1-800-645-6687) 9AM-8PM EST, Monday to Friday.
You will have to download those pictures in your camera to your computer. Internal memory on a camera will maybe hold 25-50 pictures. If you want more storage, you will have to buy a memory card which is really inexpensive. There will be a slot probably somewhere by your batteries to insert the card. After the card is inserted, you will have to go to the memory function on your camera and tell it to use the memory card instead of "internal storage".
CR1220 batteries are needed for the clock and AA batteries to power up
the camera itself. They are widely available and plenty are available on eBay or Amazon websites.
it s possible that you have a chargement faul. look if your camera have works normaly befor the dischargement of the batterie.. you can buy with a chip price a charger on ebay. insert the exact model of your camera, and go on the international seller. in china you must wayth 3 weeks to have the item...but you can find a new charger, with 6-7 gbp it s possible to find battery and charger with 7- 8 gbp... so if the problem is that the camera dont charge. buy a external charger.. so you can charge the battery external out from the camera. regards paolo
Throw the camera in the trash and buy another brand. I had this problem and sent the camera to Sony autherized repair at a cost of over $200.00 and the camera malfunctioned again after a week.
