Which file do i select from the 13 files on the disk to load it to my computer?

If you are talking about 13 files of a package and are confused about the installation program then click on setup.exe to install the program to your PC/laptop.

Would like to load some of the older games i have onto vista but they are not 64 bit compatible, looking for free download to correct this problem

Run the Program Compatibility Wizard
  1. ?id=microsoft.windows.resources.shellexecutetopiciconClick to open the Program Compatibility Wizard.
  2. Follow the instructions in the wizard.
If you cannot install a program, insert the installation disc for the program and, using the wizard, browse to the program's setup file, usually called Setup.exe, Install.exe, or something similar. The wizard is not designed to work on programs that have an .msi file name extension.

Im failling to install spss 17 on windows xp os

Does it install on some other computer?

Maybe, you have some "bad" RAM in your computer.

Maybe, the EXE file is "damaged" -- it does not contain 100% of what it should contain.

Cannot save my data

1.open a second instance of Spss
(do not open it by clicking on a saved file -it will not open the backend that is requierd to let you save)

2. Make a new blank data file

3. go back to your original non-saveable work -- highlight the top tabs (and all your work) right click and hit copy.

4. go to the new blank spss data - right click on the top tab and hit paste- viola your work is now in a saveable version of spss (save now!!!!)

This problem occurs when the program is opened via a saved spss file and it does not open the second part of the program that allows you to save (bad bug). it is in view mode and will let you enter many hours of data before you release you cant save. (My wife was crying when she didnt think she could save her project for Grad school she had been workin on for 19 hours) I got lucky and figured out this work around.. Hope this helps all future SPSS folks this was a workaround for up to spss 17 (dont know if it works for 18 or if they have fixed this glitch).

Search SCA Gulfwars on facebook and say hey on my wall if this helped Ya..... Good Luck

Let's Ride Corral Club will not run

To make the all the files of the game compatible to Windows Vista you need to install the game and then make changes to the game exe file.

Some game ".exe" file (executeable file) would let you make changes in the Compatibility option, whereas older games might not give that option at all.

You can still try to make the game compatible for installing it on the Windows Vista by following the steps below.

1. Insert the game disc in your CD-ROM drive, if the game setup or the autorun starts, exit it.

2. Open "Computer", Right Click the Cd Drive which has the game disk in it and select "Copy".

3. Go to your "Desktop" right click and then select "New" and click on "Folder" this should create a new folder on your desktop.

4. Open the New Folder and then Right Click and select "Paste".

6. After all the files are copied to the "New Folder" without any error messages then locate the file "Setup.exe" or "Setup" and right click and click on "Properties".

7. In the new window click on the "Compatibility" tab and run the program in compatibility mode for "Windows XP Service Pack 2" and then click on "Apply".

8. After applying changes double click on "Setup.exe" or "Setup" to launch the installation.

9. After the game is installed go to the game directory and find the "LetsRide.exe" and click on "Properties" and repeat step no.7

You can delete all the files copied from the CD after completing the installation

The game files need to be copied to the hard drive because the files on the game disk would not let you make changes while on the disk.

There are lot of files that need to be changed in order to get full functionality and to communicate with operating system and the hardware, hence there is no guarantee that the game might run even in cases where you will successfully install an older version of the game with the above mentioned steps.

The same set of steps can be used for installation of older games installation on Windows Vista.
