Sometimes my screen goes blank also and I just hit the OK button, i6t might just be resting. Also, Unplug the printer and plug it back in. Seems to work for me when I have to stop a print job. It resets itself, I think.
Water damaged screen means total loss, You must have to chage screen. First time while you switch on it water is presented on TFT display, And its damaged to diplay & normaly is blank sometime. Check it in service center of it.,
Check the screen power saving configuration in the display properties. Point the mouse in the blank screen then RIGHT CLICK THE MOUSE in select properties then select SCREEN SAVER click POWER in the power scheme select never for all options and also check the screen saver setting or disable the screen saver for the mean time.
My JVC KD AVX2 Car DVD Player has the same current malfunction, when I slid the face to the stereo, the face stays lit for about 1-2 mins then the face shuts off and the sound continues to play, but i am not able to change stations nor lower or raise the volume.
I have reset the system; on the face of the stereo there is a reset button I held for a couple of seconds for reset when on
I have checked the wiring an harnes but all was professionally done no loose wires
I used an air duster to dust out any dust or dirt in the stereo
I have the same problem, no display, buttons light up though and sound plays for a few seconds before switching off, checked yellow wire, all in tact.
