Hi My TV is rather new and when i turn it on it plays for about 30 seconds or so and then it shuts off. As it turns off Three flashing lights apear about once every second in front of the tv. i tried unpluging it for 30 seconds but the problem continued. Im not sure what else I could do. Thankyou for your time and consideration.
When that happens it could mean your bulb needs replacement. You can replace the bulb yourself on most TV just heck the back of the owners manual.
Is the set still under warranty,if so call for service if not when you turn it on try to listen near the side of the unit for a fan noise or high voltage arc sound and do you see light on the screen or in the rear of set.

I turned on the tv but i didn't hear any noise or busing sound. The light that i see is not really ont the screen but on the silver panel right next to the source button. its three lights a red one on the right and two yellow or green lights next to that one. I do have extended waranty. Thanks again for your time.

tv shuts off after 15 minute, will restart and repeat turn off.
