I have a Samsung TX-R3079WH That won't turn on. when I first plug it in the red led light comes on and stays on until I push the button on the front of the tv to turn it on the red led light begins to flash and then goes out. No picture or sound. Thanks for your time, mtnbikerone
same problem. I took to the repair guy and he said the transformer is gone and changed it. After couple of days again it went off. Not sure what this time. Can you count how many times it flashes ? It might flash like 6 times and pause for 2 sec and flash 6 times again. THen call a service comany and tell them this info and they might tell you what part inside is bad. They are not telling you this for you to replace but they might say something like oh 6 flashes is a Y board and we will have to order it. Hope this helps

leave the tv disconnected for a while because if you keep messing with it like my kids did and it will cause the bulb inside to burn out and will not even be worth fixing
Hi replace the fuse in the wire connecting the mains plug. It's generally located within the 3 pin plug. If you are lucky it maybe just a fuse blown out. Thanks
