Camera will not turn on. I've had it since June 06, only minimally used (700 pics). It has always been handled very carefully, always kept in case, never been dropped, banged up etc.
The battery is fully charged as far as I can tell (the indicator light on the battery charger goes off 1 minute after it's plugged in). However Panasonic customer support says it could be the battery is not taking a full charge. I've ordered another battery but I'm afraid it could be something else.

From your description, your problem may be using the same card in two different cameras. You will need to format the card in the Lumix to get it to work properly. This will erase the card so download any important pics first. Then, stop trading cards between cameras.
