Question about Neovo E-17A (Black) 17" LCD Monitor

1 Answer

Blue Menu Screen is always there

Hi, would be grateful for any advice on this. The screen when turned on brings up the blue menu box constantly and it goes through all the motions of the settings by itself. I cannot turm the screen off with the on/off button, nor by pressing any buttons on the front panel make the 'blue menu' box go away. Other than that, the screen works normally but I have to reduce the browser to a quarter of the screen to work around the 'blue menu' box which is now starting to be very annoying. The settings show it is 1280x1024 60.0Hz, then it goes around the box menu but the language is set in French ..... Any help would be great ! Thank you in advance.

    I ahve the same problem

Does this mean it can be fixed by getting a new keyboard?

yup, same problem here for a Neovo F-419. It's completely random and incredibly annoying. Been using this monitor for about 2 years now and it just suddenly started

Dear All
This problem is caused by keyboard switches which are bad quality they are easy to replace, so if you are able to work with solder you can finish replacement in 15min.
Good luck.

Sony KDL46S4100 when turned on there is no picture just a blue screen

Hi,
Is this blue screen on all inputs (HDMI, etc.), or just on the one?
Does the remote control work, can you get the menu to display, is there any sound?
If no sound and picture, no menu etc., might be a software problem, the main PCB, or a missing voltage on this board.

How do I adjust the convergence properties on an RCA rear projection tv?

Normally on the RCA rear projection TV's you would bring up your menu and choose the Setup menu, then press OK on the remote. That menu would then have Convergence as a choice. Once that was chosen the next menu would give you the choice of either letting the TV run it's own Autoconvergence program, or you would select either Red or Blue convergence.

Choosing Red Convergence would bring up a Yellow cross-hair in the middle of the screen. If the Convergence was not correct you would see separate Green and Red cross-hairs. Once they were perfectly aligned you would again see one Yellow cross-hair.

Choosing Blue Convergence would bring up a Blue cross-hair in the center of the screen. If the alignment was out you would see 2 Blue cross-hairs. Using the Up and Down and Left and Right cursor keys you would adjust the alignment until a single solid Blue cross-hair was in the center of the screen.

Is there a code number that needs to be entered to bring the convergence pattern or menu on screen.

From a user standpoint you would follow these steps to bring up your Convergence menu:

1) Press your MENU button.

2) Press the Right Cursor Button to enter the Picture menu.

3) Press the Down Cursor Button until you highlight the MANUAL CONVERGENCE choice on the menu.

4) You will then see the following choices on the right hand side of the menu: Convergence Red, Convergence Blue, Multipoint Red, Multi Blue, Save Multipoint.

5) Once you choose either the Red or Blue choices you will get a crosshair in the middle of your screen. You will then use either your Up, Down, Left, or Right Cursor buttons to get the two images to line up correctly. If you still have multi images on your screen in either Red or Blue you would then have to adjust the Multipoint choice for that color.

Hi gud noon.just want some advice i have a problem with our tv sanyo flat screen if we try to turn it on it only appears blue screen theres no picture....thats our problem... we try to call already the...

  1. Try changing the input on the TV to see if the Blue screen goes away. Can you access the TV menu on the screen? If so, try running a channel scan until it is complete. Then check if the blue screen is still there.
  2. Disconnect any RCA cables, or other input cables from the back and see if you still have a blue screen.

Hi I have a rca hd52w59. the top half of the

Projection sets have two very common problems.

The first common problem is convergence

These sets need to have all three colors - RED - BLUE - GREEN - lined up correctly on the screen in order for the picture to look normal. This is called convergence.

When its out of alignment the video will look 3-D, wavy, distorted, etc. Most of the time you just need to adjust your convergence in the menu. If you cannot adjust it in the menu - then your convergence is broken and needs to be repaired. Convergence problems are very common on all Projection TV sets including Sony, Samsung,JVC,Philip Magnavox,Panasonic,Akai,Pioneer, Hitachi,Mitsubishi,Zenith and others.
You can get more information and a DIY convergenece repair kit with instructions from the link below.

Here are some of the most common problems with these sets...

*Screen Looks 3-D
*Colors wont align
*Screen may look distorted or warped or bowed
*No Audio/Video - TV Shuts down - May also make a constant chirping sound

Problem #2 - Another common problem is dull or washed out video.

Your set may have one or more of the following symptoms....

*Dull looking picture
*White looking picture
*Halos around objects
*Red/Orange looking picture

Screen changes colors only

Hold the Vol+ Vol- buttons down and turn on the power switch in the back of the unit.
The screen should turn blue and some square in the middle of it.
The noisy square is actually the bios being reset.
Once the unit turns itself off, you can turn it back as usual.
Note: Some of these units require a 3 button reset.
In that case hold Vol+ Vol- and Menu at the same time while you turn the power switch on in the back of the set.
I hope it was helpful.

Blue menu screen stays on

Hi! the blue menu screen can be turned off by pressing the same button that caused it to appear. In most cases pressing the "Menu" button on the remote or TV-control will make the blue menu screen disappear..

I hope this helps!
