From what you have described your Frigidaire dryer, GLEQ2152ES, is running for a few seconds and then displaying an error code of "PF". The error code of "PF" means there is a power failure and this could be an issue within your control panel or power source. Any electrical interruption to the machine such as a circuit breaker being reset or weather related power outage can cause a PF error code.

To remedy;

Press the Pause/Cancel/Stop button twice to clear the PF in the display.

Try to start a short cycle to check the operation of the machine by selecting a cycle and pressing and holding the start button.

If you continue to receive the PF error code, the control board may need to be replaced

as per heatman The most common cause of your appliance giving you the PF error code is a problem with the power coming in from your utility company. Of course if there is an interruption of power, and then the power comes back on you will get the PF code Loose wires going to the circuit board or the control can also be a cause of the error code. If a wire terminal end happens to get corroded or loose, the vibration from the machine can cause slight power problems and this can cause the PF code to be displayed. Finding the cause of this type of problem is like finding a needle in a haystack. Sometimes you can cause it to be displayed by banging on the side of the appliance or slightly moving the wiring harness, to see if you can get the error code to display.

The bottom line about this power failure error code, is that it is power related. Finding the exact cause can be difficult. If you are continually having to reset the appliance then check to see if all of your appliances are giving the same code. This will indicate utility power problems. If only one appliance is giving the PF code then it is probably internal to the appliance.

PF error means power failure which is generally caused when the control board inside the unit goes bad. You can try unplugging the unit for 15-30 minutes, if the issue returns then the control board needs replacement. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.

PF error code means power failure and is displayed when the unit is either not getting power or the control board itself has gone bad. Please check if the unit is getting enough power and then leave the unit unplugged for 20 minutes. If the problem returns then replacing the electronic control board is recommended repair. Pf is power factor. It is showing you there was an interuption of power. Some models you have to wait at least 3 minutes before you can press stop / pause / cancel to clear the PF. If you still keep getting PF go to the main CB panel and turn off the Dryer CB by physically pushing to breaker to the OFF position to reset the breaker then back to on. You will have to wait again before you can clear the PF. If after resetting the breaker you still get the PF in the display you may have to find out what power you actually have at the outlet. 115V or 230V. Other factors come into play also like 3 or 4 prong connections vs the previous connection. They do make a difference and if the power cord was installed incorrectly the PF will never clear until the cord is connected correctly.
