1992 magic chef (panasonic) microwave. Model M15E-5B. In a RV with very little use. Ran empty. 5 seconds blue flash at top of oven. Panel lights but only time pads work. Seconds, minutes, ect. Fix with new microwave bulb? If so how do I discharge the capacitor? Or should I just replace the microwave? Any recommendations as to brand/models? Thanks

1. Unplug the Magic Chef microwave from the wall outlet.
2. Remove the screw from the light cover located on the left side of the underside of the microwave. ...
3. Unscrew the light bulb, then screw in the new light bulb.
4. Raise the light cover, then secure the cover with the screw that was originally removed.

Typicaly, remove the cover to gt access to the lamp.
