I have a new pc with Windows Vista but a cannot get my Dell A920 to connect to it. The driver disc that came with the printer is not installing correctly because I believe it only works for previous Windows editions. I have a Dell 968w All in One Printer which is 13 months old and out of warranty. I just bought a new Gateway computer which has the Vista Home Premium operating system. When I try to open the system from the desktop icon to scan, I get the following message, "AIOC exe has stopped working". How can I fix this?

That A920 is working with vista, here is the drivers for thet:

Dont forget to download and install the application to, you need all the files on that site
For that 968 printer, uninstall it, download the files from the link below and reinstall it, that will make your printer work again

Yepp, i do have some more suggestion to make your printer work
Download and instal net.framework from here:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/detai...
Thats very importan to have installed in many applications
And download and install JAVA from here:
http://java.com/en/download/index.jsp
You also need to download and install the PATCH for the A920 printer, here is the link for that:

Now, uninstall your printer/printers again, after that install the net.framwork and the Java, when done install the A920 whit thode drivers and the aplication you downloaded from before, when done run the patch, Follow carrefull the installation instrustion during the installation.
When done with the A 920 and after a restart of your pc its time to reinstall the 968W, run the firmware and the drivers installation you downloaded from berfore again, follow carefull the instructions given during the installation,
All those steps should solve your problem i belive.
