You have an intermittent problem. That means a component is going bad in all probability. If it was a capacitor that burned up you would not have any picture. Your problem requires a schematic plus an tester. You would need to check values for all components. If you have not done this (and assuming you can follow an electrical schematic) and if new to diagnosing these types of problems plan on spending many hours at the task. The question you need to ask yourself perhaps is is it worth it.....particularly since even if you find the problem it may require ordering parts...and you might need some basic soldering skills, etc.....If it was me...I would probably either send it in for repair (deifnitely if under warranty) or buy another.

I HAVE DELL LCD TV SCREEN 2007FPB SUDDENLY IT DOES NOT WORK WHEN CONNECTEC TO POWER SUPPLY, PREVIOUSLY IS GOOD WHAT IS THE PROBLEM & HOW MUCH MONEY NEED

First check your monitor light is blinking or not. If it is then--

Check your monitor cable which is connected your CPU. If it is ok then
Open your CPU and unplug *********** board power cable and re-install it.
And also remove RAM and clean with a brush softly and re-install it.

Best of Luck

I have a NEC Mutisync LCD 2070NX monitor & the On-Off switch is "loose" making it difficult to turn the monitor off & on. Where can I go to get it fixed or would the cost of the repair be too...

it should be possible to take the cover off and fix your self with some contact adhesive like no more nails (etc) as the switch itself does not appear faulty this should work fine..

Hp l1906 LCD MONITOR SCREEN WONT DISPLAY. power lcd green light keep blinking. Any solution? thx

It is possible that the video card in cpu is bad, try hooking up another monitor to the cpu (computer) if you have one that will let you know if it is the monitor or the computer video card, Could be as simple as the driver is missing.

Hi I just bought 7 NEC Multisync LCD1550v monitors and they all have the same problem. when plugged in all i get is a blinking power light. 1 of them showed signs of life for just a second but that was it....

You buy a new LCD Monitors, now still not working., if that new LCD Monitor is OK, then check your VGA Card, its inside the CPU maybe its broke or not connect properly inside. This are the cause of not displaying in your LCD Monitors.
If you here some beeps of your CPU then find out how many beeps and tell us here immediately.

Dell flat screen started flashing, green light was blinking then screen went blank and green light is on. Tried unplugging etc...time for a new one?

No. It is not a Flat Screen issue. It is a CPU issue. You CPU is not sending signal to your flat screen so the green light is flashing. Try to:

1. Reset OR
2. Unplug the CPU case, Open the CPU, the interchange the RAM modules, OR
3. Same with step 2 but unplug and then plug back in all expansion cards like audio, video cards, etc.

It seems that your system needs discharging from a frozen state.

NEC MONITOR 1700M+

Hello there !
First things Frist:
1) Test the switching on keyboard for external monitor and see if work, or you disable the laptop monitor.
2) install the driver for select external monitor. depending the video card, you may have 2 display panels, to select, on that driver. NVIDIA or RADEON
