When sending files from one bluetooth enabled device to my LG Prada, I constantly get the message 'memory full'. This is not the case as I have cleared absolutely EVERYTHING out of the memory (numbers, messages, files etc.) but no joy. Does anybody know of a way to store files directly onto the memory card at all? The card itself is fine as I had it in my Samsung and filled it with media, then transferred it into the LG and nothing was present (the files are only MP3's for Gods sake!). I've looked in both the phone and card memories but there is nothing showing up - please help!!!

Try to connect it directly without any driver ..and see if it is seeing the memory card inside like a separate drive (removable memory device ) in the My computer folder..Even from the Chocolate this can be done ...and I used to have a chocolate and never used a driver....every time I used to connect it ..it was seen into the My computer as a removable storage device ...just like a memory stick ..
As far as I know, you cannot transfer files to and from the memory card via bluetooth.
What I recommend is to either get a memory card reader for the memory card and insert it into your PC and transfer directly, or purchase the USB cable. It is worth the cost, since transfer speeds via bluetooth is pathetically slow.
Otherwise, you can transfer the files to your phone, then turn it on and move it to your memory card ofcourse. That way, you can avoid getting either the USB cable or memory card reader, but this means that you can only transfer 8mb at a time and is quite laboursome.
Have you checked the manual for any assistance? You seem to be following guidelines appropriately and I'm unsure why your still having difficulty. The proper way to sync music files is a simple as copying and pasting.
hey! i also had the same problem. i could only send files through bluetooth but couldn't receive them but recently i found out it's becuase my handset common memory was full. so if you delete some files u have on ur handset memory..u may be able to receive files again. this worked for me but im not sure if you have the same problem as i did. i thought that the files received on bluetooth would go to my mircoSD memory chip thingy but apparently it didnt. SOOOO if ur able to send files through bluetooth it should mean that the bluetooth connection itself isn't the problem....i think. it's just ur handset common memory that is full. u can go check the memory space by going to Setting ->Memory manager ->Hanset common memory.
Hopefully this helps!
Files have to be sent one at a time to your phone and then each one moved to your phone's external memory, before sending another. Unfortunately, there is no setting to send straight to your phone's external memory directly. Please see my 'hints and tips' postings regarding jpg sizing and other media file information.
Best of luck.
There is a restriction in the JPG ratio/pixel size on the Prada.
You need to first get your photos on to your computer and check the size of them is 640 x 480 and that they are standard .jpg
Make sure any file you send is not 'in use' I.E. you don't have the file open on your computer - open files/in use files cannot be sent.
Also, after every download to the phone, you need to move the jpeg file to the external memory as the phone itself can only cope with a few files at a time before registering as full.
