Question about Indesit W 123 Front Load Washer
In typical fashion my washing machine broke down one week after the warantee ran out. It is an Indesit W1A111. Having finished a load of washing and turning the programme selector dial to "off", I noticed after an hour or so that one of the cycle LEDs was flashing. I pressed the start/pause button and the machine filled up with water and started a cycle even though the selector was in the "off" position. I hit the pause button again and switched off at the socket and had to drain the machine manually. Does anyone know what the problem is and how to fix it?
Hi i need a user manual for this machine. Where could i get one please. x

Many indesits have a memory on board, set the timer to off position, turn on the mains press start let the machine finish what it is doing, and it will reset normally, turn off at mains for a few minutes can also do the trick, it sounds like one of the option buttons was pressed and you didn't let the timer finish its course,

Thanks for the advice. Hadn't had a reply for a few days so unplugged the machine and left it overnight. Seems to have reset itself so you were probably right.
