Treo 700w My treo phone will only power up if it is connected to the charger. I tried a new battery and it didn't fix the issue.

1. Disconnect the Treo from a charger or USB cable.
2. Remove the battery cover and take out the battery.
3. Press and hold Power/End while you insert the battery.
4. When the screen lights up with the logo appears, release Power/End.
5. Press Up when the Erase all data? prompt appears.
6. Press Up to confirm the hard reset.

Take your phone into you local network store and ask them to charge your battery. They charge it directly to the plug. This is free. If your phone works after this then it is the charger or the socket inside your phone!

Increase the phone volume. You'll get a ding for missed call from the PDA volume side, but the phone volume controls the ringer volumes and voice features... Access it from the buttons on the side or with settings menu.
If the volume is already maxxed, try updating the firmware on the device. You'll need to have the phone attached to a PC via USB cable, download and run the package. It'll wipe out your address book and other data on the phone though so make sure you have this backed up or can replace it.

Once unlocked you can use it on any network worldwide.

Contact your cell phone carrier.  They can fix this for you, possibly even by sending your phone a new lock code right over the wireless signal!

The charger charges the battery independent of the phone. It is the only one I have found and it works GREAT. I had a couple issues at first but the rep, Matt, bent over backwards to resolve them. I would recommend this charger and company to anybody. The charger is a universal charger and will charge other cell phone batteries as well. The only con is that it does take a little longer to charge than using the port.

Verizon 700wx:I had the same problem. With little or no movement, the phone would go from charging to not over and over. At home with it perfectly still it would charge maybe 1/4 in 6 hours. Same problem with 3 different chargers. With the battery out, I dipped a Q-tip in rubbing alcohol squeeze out excess and jammed it into the charging port on the phone. Put the battery back in and oh **** nothing. Took it back out and let it dry for a few minutes and were back in business. No more charging problems at all.

May be a little risky, but warranty was up and what did I have to lose. Anyway good luck!

hold the red power button down for 2 sec then it should say welcome if not then take the battery cover off and to the left of the battery is a reset button you can press with the sylus

Sad to say - you need to go get out your phone bill and call Sprint - they may need to fix their end of the internet connection. They often disconnect services you have paid for and can't use. In any case their tech support is pretty good. They can also reset your password and let you know your text message address.
