Where is the DVD emergency eject hole for DVD724?

My player won't even turn on but my favorite DVD is inside. I just want to get my disc out without having to disassemble the whole thing. Is there an emergency eject hole I can put a paperclip in to unlock the disc tray and get my disc out? I looked in the manual but it did not show an eject hole anywhere. Thx

SOURCE: Disc error when reading dvd

If cleaning of the lens did not help then it is possible that the laser beam torch needs a replacement. Different formats need different strengths of the beam and the torch would need to be replaced.

SOURCE: When I put dvd inside of dvd player, player says

I'm not really an expert in this area so please dont' be mad if I say something wrong, but I do know that in order for a disc to be read by the device, a laser has to shine onto the disc and when it reflects back, that's how it is read. I don't know if something is wrong with the laser or if it's just not reading it for some odd reason but maybe if you want it fixed you might would want to send it into the company or buy a new one.

I have a Veon TV with a built in DVD player. I have put a DVD in and now have no way to eject it. The universal remote I use has no eject button and neither does the TV.

If you are not sure about trying any of this Get a TV specialist to look at the TV.
Some DVD players are fitted with an emergency release. Look carefully at the area around where the DVD slots into the player for a small round hole. If there is a hole there you can use a paper clip to eject the Disc.
Try this... Bend one end of the paper clip outwards. GENTLY push the bent out end into the round hole. It won't go in very far, This should eject the DVD.
If there is no hole it gets more difficult.
**DO NOT put anything metal in the slot! Household voltages can and will Kill you!**
Try this... Find a CD or a DVD you don't need anymore as you will scratch it doing this. Grip your spare disc firmly and start to Gently slide it into the DVD slot. When it gets to the position where it starts to grips and load the disc, Firmly pull the disc back out of the player.
This should trigger the load/eject motor. Because you pulled the spare disc out it should create a load error and it should eject the DVD that is already inside the player.
If this doesn't work Get a TV specialist to fix it for you.

LG v181 won't eject - it tries to load even when there is no disc and won't slide out the tray at all.

It's likely a belt that drives the tray has snapped or come off! If you take the top off you might well see it!

Cannot eject a dvd from a dvd player

usually if you look in the front you should find a small hole turn on the Player and push a Paperclip into the hole this is a manual eject for the tray. If there is NO hole then Unplug the Player and remove the outer metal cover Do NOT stick anything into the Inside of the Player taking a flathead screwdriver You can coax the slide tray to eject the disc If it is an internal feed and eject system across the top there should be a crossbar with a spindle in it facing downward onto your disc remover this crossbar and you can safely coax the disc out of the front without damaging your disc. your issue is when the disc was inerted it was misaglinged in the player so the system misinterpreted it as being a No Disc and locked out the ejection of the disc in the players brain there is NO disc in the player at all after you removed your disc reassemble the player and either return it or toss it out for recycling and get another one

GoVideo vr 2940 DVD drawer will not open. It has a DVD in it.

Pull the power plug from the unit. Wait a minute, then plug it back in. If it still won't open, you'll have to take the player apart to get it out, UNLESS it has the eject port on it - some do. Look around the DVD drive for a small hole, about the diameter of a paper clip. If you find one, straighten a paper clip, unplug the player from power, then use the straightened paper clip by pushing it straight in to the hole, which should trigger the emergency release.

Good luck.

The disc tray on my iView 4000KR won't open. It has a disc inside that plays fine, but won't eject. This has never happened in the 18 months I've had the player.

Under each disk tray is a very small hole; this hole is for use when you experience the problem like yours.

Get a paper/money clip and straighten the wire; push the wire into this hole and your disk will open.

My disc won't eject and there's no hole for paperclip.

If your DVD Drive came with the computer originally your DVD Drive should have an emergency eject hole.

Kindly check the emergency eject hole just on top of the eject button you will see there a hole where you can poke using a paper clip.

Dvd tray will not open

Most dvd players have an emergency ejection feature specifically for this reason. Usually it is in the form of a tiny hole on the front of the player near the dvd tray. You can eject the disc by inserting a paper clip into the hole. I wish you luck! Der Strom

Look at the door of your DVD shutter. There might be very small hole. This is an emergency Shutter open point. Make off your player, insert a long pin inside the hole, press it gently, you will notice that the shutter is openning, pull it out side, and take off your data DVD from the tray.

Thanks
