Need to fix a Bugaboo Frog wheel

Someone backed into my Bugaboo Frog stroller in a parking lot.  The back wheels are now wobbly and angled.  I pulled them out of the frame and the poles that attach the wheels to the frame are bent.  I tried to bend them back into place myself with no luck.  I really can't do without my stroller for the amount of time it would take for me to send the wheels to Bugaboo.  How can they be fixed?  Can a bike shop possibly bend them back? Thank you!!!!

Just order new wheels from bugaboo. They cost about $30 bucks each or contact a local retailer to order you some wheels.

My Bugaboo Frog's back wheels keep falling off! Whats the solution please?!

There are spring clips in the rear axle just behind the rear wheels. Yours are either no engaging properly or missing completely! Check page 20 of the manual. By the way you are my 500th solution!

I put wheel in wrong on my bugaboo frog

You need to compress the two lock tabs. This can be done with two large screwdrivers, Slide the flat blade of each driver down between the tab and the side wall of the wheel mount. Twist each driver to push the tabs in and get someone to pull the wheel out. I found a piece of copper pipe I use it's just the right size to slide over the wheels top and push the tabs in.

The brake of my bugaboo frog broke. I had someone watching my son and she broke the brake someone. Is that fixable?. The brake wire that goes from the brake handle to the wheels broke. What could I do?

If it is less then two years old and you have proof of purchase Bugaboo will replace the whole frame. If older you have a problem. What part is broken? Find your nearest Bugaboo agent and see if you can scrounge a broken frame off them for the parts. I doubt they ship the warranty returns back to Holland. If that won't fly try a plastic welder, It won't look pretty but it'll work.

How can i know my front and back wheels of my bugaboo frog need replacement??

Wheel replacement is not a safety issue unless they are effecting brake operation (unlikely) Front wheels are prone to loosing the locking tabs at the top (they are the perfect hight to be taken out by car bumpers etc), Other wise as long as they rotate without causing a wobble and the old style rear wheels are correctly inflated all is fine,

Bugaboo Frog Wheel Board

i'm sure you have solved this already, but yes, there should be two pieces that attach to the back axle that the board slides onto to attach it to the stroller. It wont work without these parts. The person you bought them from probably still has these parts attached to their stroller.

Bugaboo Frog Stroller (Folds on it's own)

Don't worry, this is normal. Once you lock the seat into place, the front bar stays put, even if you hop a curb.

Bubaboo Frog Tilt Wheel

Hello bugabooownr:

I have seen this problem before. If the wheel was accidentally crushed or bent while still on the stroller, it may have become bent. This has also occurred while checked on a plane. If the stroller is still under 2 years old, bugaboo will usually replace the piece. If not, most bugaboo retailers sell replacement wheels. You can contact bugaboo here: bugaboo.com

Hope this helps:
