you are probably confuse by the Sandisk software. you can uninstall it, but i advice you don't. when you plug it, it will appear in windows explorer window 2 more devices: a removable device and a dvd/cd drive. copy your documents to the removable device.
if the drive is not working and it ask you if you want to format it be aware that you won't be able to use its software. if you have data on the device, make a quick format and after that use get data back (gdb4fat) software to recover it.
Hook your USB cable into your camera and computer, then turn camera on and select PC, then go to your desktop and click my computer. Find your E drive and double click. then give it a second and my computer tranfers them automatically. my instructions say after you double click on the E drive, double click on removable disk and locate DCIM folder. double click on DCIM folder to open and then there you go! HOPEFULLY THIS HELPS YOU OUT!
this is what you do:
you have to call at&t and tell them what you are doing they will give you a code for the fone, but you will not be able to send pictures, email, recieve pics or anything..well that is if the sidekick is compatible with the sim card, because on the box it says it is not..GOOD LUCK!!
go to START, ALL PROGRAMS, ACCESSORIES, COMMAND PROMPT. In the black window that pops up, type CD... [enter] do it again CD... [enter] Now type in CHKDSK /F [enter]
What this does is check your hard drive for errors and repairs them. the /F means repair the hard drive.
Instructions say next time you boot up the machine will check its hard drive.
