I don't know if I understood your problem correctly: you have a Canon Pixma MP480 and you want to install it in a computer with MAC OS and the CD that came with the printer is for Windows systems?
CANON has drivers and software available for your printer and MAC OS X. You can dowload them from PIXMA
MP480 Photo All-In-One-Printer support homepage .
On that page, clickon the "Drivers & Downloads" tab and then select your operating system to get a list of compatible drivers, sofware and manuals.
Download the printer and scanner drivers compatible with your system, from "Drivers" section and select and download the software you need from the 'Software section".
For help and troubleshooting installation issues, click on 'Support & Service".
If I misunderstood your post and you have a different problem, please comment and I will try to help more.
I have solved the problem, my moniter cable wasn't plugged in all the way. I installed a new graphics card and a few of the pins were not fully connected. Thanks for the help.
