My kenwood kdc-3011 has two blue and two yellow wires and have it all wired but the 7 wires they are 2 yellows 1 blue wire 1 blue wire with white strip 1 orange wire 1 red wire and one black wire now i am sure the black wire is for the ground and i think that the orange is for illumination but as for the yellow i know that one is for 12+ unswitched but dont know what one please i need a wire diagram for it

Hi, this picture resembles the harness(connecting plug) looking in from the back of the harness. The red wire goes into the A+ point. the black wire goes into the Gnd point. The yellow wire goes into the B+ point. if you not sure how to read this picture please ask the help of an installer. Cheers.

Here's the wiring connections for the Kenwood KDC-3025.



Black: Car chassis (-) ground wire
Yellow: Battery (+) wire (must connect to retain memory settings)
Red: Ignition/Accessory wire

White (w/black stripe): Front Left speaker (-)
White: Front Left speaker (+)

Gray (w/black): Front Right speaker (-)
Gray: Front Right speaker (+)

Green (w/black): Rear Left speaker (-)
Green: Rear Left speaker (+)

Purple (w/black): Rear Right speaker (-)
Purple: Rear Right speaker (+)

Blue (w/white): Power Control wire (used with ext. amp only). Do not expose this wire, if no amp is used.

Blue: Antenna Control wire

Brown: Telephone Mute wire (used with handsfree carkits).

This indicates a short in one of the speakers, or possibly the speakers are not wired correctly. Please see my tip at http://www.fixya.com/support/r9389300-stereo_says_protect_or_clicks_off_when .
