Samsung YP-T9j won't turn OFF - Automatic Test Mode

HELP!!! My Samsung YP-T9j won't turn off and is stuck with a screen that reads Automatic Test F/W v1.67. I tried to reset multiple times utilizing the Menu/Rec buttons....it acts like it is trying to reboot but then ends up back on the same screen. I let the battery uncharge completely then charged it completely. I was able to look through the menus but it still would not power off and went back to the Automatic Test screen again...help

My Samsung is stuck in the transferring files mode after trying to download some songs from my computer. It is advising me not to disconnect, but it won't do anything else. I disconnected after an hour and tried rebooting, but nothing. I can't even get it to turn off.

Menu and A/B(rec) together turned off the bluetooth. thanks.

Hold Menu and A/B to turn it off.

In my case, firmware upgrade didn't help.

Have you tried connecting it to your computer and attempting a Firmware re-load? There should have been a disc supplied which holds the software that operates your player. Firmware crashes are quite common on various machines, ans a re-load often sorts it. How old is the player? Worth checking the manufacturer's website to see if they've updated the Firmware.

You can download it from SAMSUNG support pages.
They have several YP-T9J product references, but it seems that both manuals (Manual and Quick User Guide) and sofware are the same for all YP-T9J line.

My samsung yp-t9 says automatic test!!!HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Try pressing the menu and the record button together at the same time.This resets the yp-t9.I guess this should help.

plug youe mp3 into the back usb port other than the front one let it charge for bout 3 hours

YP-T9J Screen stuck on transferring files do not disconnect

Vegggie Boy is mistaken. You should press and hold the red record button while pressing the menu button. The player will reset itself to normal operational mode.
