I want to use my system recovery cds for 2415 s205, yet my computer fails to recognize them. I hold down the c key while starting up the computer, and the computer starts to read the cds but is stopped, and then proceeds to the windows xp startup. I know that there is no problem with the cds because they are recognized by another toshiba laptop of a different model (identified through a wrong machine error). And likewise, the faulty s205 laptop can recognize other recovery cds through the wrong machine message, but it just won't read its own recovery cds. I've tried system restore, but that won't work either. I have recently been infected by some Outerinfo adware, and some Think Adz adware, but I can't seem to pinpoint a virus or spyware program that might be the cause. Please help!
Is there an on board internal blue tooth?

I think the peoblem is that you need to set the cdrom as first boot device, go into bios (F2 or Del on boot up) and enter advanced cmos settings and you will find that the HDD (Hard disk) is set as first boot device, change this with up/down keys or + - keys to cdrom as first boot device. save settings and exit for a restart with cd in drive.
