This might be a control processor problem you may have to get a schematic to see what the voltages should be as measured with a multimeter. I would say that this is a control processor problem.

AOC L24H898 LCD TV

Do you have power surge or failure issues with your electricity? Try plugging your TV into an uninterruptable power supply (UPS) to get line conditioning and the continuous power.

Otherwise, I'd guess there is something else causing memory failures (bad chip or something).

I hope this helps.

Verify that you don't have a stuck channel up button on the panel. Next check the solder connections on the IR receiver (3 pins). Also check the +5 supply for excessive ripple. Any of these can cause odd behavior. Let me know how you make out.

Not able to connect Sharp Model 25h-M60 to Laptop or DVD player

Use a VCR as a A/B switch. Run Cable signal into VCR. Run coax cable out of VCR into television. Connect DVD to VCR (line in) using RCA cables. To use DVD, set VCR channel to L1 or L2 or AUX, depending on VCR type. Set VCR to channel 3 or 4 to watch television. VCR must be powered up to watch DVD.
