SOURCE: Extra handsets no longer seem to work. No ring and no line

Please be sure to put the extra handsets in the MAIN base station to register. They will not register in the small remote charger stations.

Let me know if that fixes the problem!

SOURCE: memory upgrade

There is many things that can happen with RAM that end up with this issue.

First I'd try removing the 256 and just place the 512mb stick into the first slot and see if that works. If it doesn't there's one of three problems occuring.

Incompatible RAM (which may fit and lock in place but still not meet the requirements systems BIOS, so it will not function)

Oversized RAM Stick (some models will only use single sided sticks of ram, where most of the newer sticks are double sided. This can actually cause problems like this and even sometimes work but only show half of the ram on that stick)

Dead Ram (It's possible and I've had it happen a few times, that you could have a dead stick of RAM. If the 512 stick works alone without the 256 in there; the the problem lies elsewhere.)

Each manufacturer has different specifications on their systems and the ram that they can use. Believe it or not, one laptop I had would only work if you had two matching sticks of RAM in the slots. So, I could use the two 256mb sticks together; but I couldn't use a 512 and a 256. I couldn't run the 1gb stick and a 256 or a 512 stick. It had to be two matching sizes. So, make absolutely sure you have a compatible stick of ram for the laptop (I suggest calling HP/Compaq and asking them if it is the correct chip as you can never be too sure). If it still will not work, then either the laptop won't support all of the 768mb, or you have a dead stick.

Try these things and see what happens. If you still have a problem, by all means, ask away. :)

Can i download navigation to the double din pioneer AVH- P4000DVD

Sorry but no Navigation Suppourt, however you can use your iPhone or iPod/iPad's Maps or your choice of Navigation App to see Navigation Instructions and Features on Screen, compatible with Android as well. I'll attach a link and a few pics, mo Navigation Suppourt but nearly everything else. No Navigation in Menu or Inputs for Navigation Antenna on Rear with all other inputs. Check it out and see what option you like best. I'd use screen mirroring and go the iPhone route(or android if Apple isn't your preference).

Thanks and Good Luck, if this has been helpful please click the icon to let me know it has been and feel free to leave a review or follow me as I answer auto/mechanical/technical questions primarily and may be helpful again. Thanks again- Daniel

2003 Ford focus no tail lights, license plate lights, reverse lights have blinkers, brake lights. So some one said check fuse 32 GEM. How will I know if this module on back of fuse box

Yes, that is when they started adding all the extra little computers into cars, gem stands for Generic Electronic Module. General Motors cars use the same type mini-computers and call them Body Control Module or BCM's. It is an extra layer of complication in electrical and electronic wiring for autos. Their justification for this added complexity is questionable. It certainly adds to repair and testing costs. You would have to take the car to a shop that has electrical equipment that can test the modules. The gem, it's like an electrical switching junction "module" that routs signals from the park light switch (where you use it to turn on park lights and license lights) and on to the light bulbs themselves. And possible lots of other switches rout through this module going to the part the switch is for. Sorry if I confused, it confounds me as well, lol.

How to add favorite website to iPad

Hi Henry,
I hope this helps:

  1. Open Safari.
  2. Navigate to your desired website.
  3. You'll see at the top of your screen an arrow coming out of a square, click this.
  4. Then, press 'Add Bookmark'.
  5. There will be a few fields popup, you most likely not need to change, but if you wish thats fine (Except second field, leave this the same).
  6. Press done.
  7. They will automatically be Bookmarked in a folder called Favourites, you can change this later.
I have added a link below to help.

I have an A2265FF all in one navigation unit in my ford focus, the SD card had route 66 installed on the card which I updated and since then I have lost the files for loading the navigation, I have...

I can understand your problem, this problem arises with new SD card.

So, please copy Navione folder to memory card root directory, enter the directory, use Notepad to open Loader.ini to edit, enter your correct path, for example: \ Storage Card \ NaviOne \ NaviOne.exe save you, run to enter Loader.exe navigation procedures.

I'm sure it will work out for you. The error message shows similar indication. So, do it and load your route installed. It will work out surely.

With Regards,
Shyny

Country roads issue!!

I think you've probably got the unit set to 'Shorter Distance' rather than 'Faster Time' in the navigation preferences.

This can be changes by navigating from the main screen to Setup (the spanner icon at the bottom) --> Navigation --> Route Preference
