Factory reset. How do you reset ALL settings to factory standards? Basically wiping the entire machine clean of information.

Perform a hardware factory reset - Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1

1. A master reset will return the tablet to the default factory settings and erase all personal information on the tablet. All important information should be backed up before proceeding.
   With the tablet turned off, press and hold the Volume Up key.
   Note: To turn the tablet off completely, press the power key, tap Power off,and tap OK.
2. While holding down the Volume Up key, press and hold the Power key.
3. Hold both the Volume Up key and the Power key until the Samsung logo appears.
   Release the Power key when the Samsung logo appears.
   When the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 logo appears, release the Volume Up key.
4. Press the Volume Down key to scroll to wipe data/factory reset.
5. With wipe data/factory reset highlighted, press the Power button.
6. Press the Volume Down key to scroll to Yes --delete all user data and press the Power key.
7. Once the wipe is complete, press the Power key to select reboot system now.
8. The master reset is now complete. The tablet will restart.

A factory Reset will wipe all the data stored on your iPad...everything will be restored to factory default, which basically means it will be just as you got it out of the box. It can be done by following these steps:

1.)Start by selecting 'settings'
2.)Than select 'general'
when in general scroll down to bottom of the page to 'Reset' and select it.
3.)Than you have the option to do a two things as far as Resetting your iPad.
a.) 'Reset All Settings' - This will preserve all your data but will restore all factory defaults..
b.) 'Erase All Content and Settings'. This will wipe all data and restore to factory defaults.

If you're giving the iPad to someone else or selling it...choose b.

I could not find any "reset" information on this machine. It would likely be in a service manual which are hard to find free. The Janome website has some online support but they basically state to contact a local distributor.

CLEAN REGISTRY - This resets the device to factory settings, losing applications but keeps your data intact.
FACTORY DEFAULTS - This completely wipes everything and resets the device back to it's factory defaults.

Try Clean Registry first.

You can't reverse a master reset. Once it's reset to factory that's it.

Master resets wipe the phone back to clean factory settings. Once wiped. It's done.

To reset your phone to factory defaults:
In the main menu, go to Settings & Tools and select Phone Settings. Select Security and enter your 4-digit code. (If you don't know it, it's probably the last 4 digits of your mobile phone number.) Once you've entered the code and clicked OK, select Restore Phone and then click Yes on the confirmation screen.
Just be sure you've copied or backed up any data or contact information from the phone before restoring it to defaults, because all of the data on the phone will be wiped clean.

Unlock all of the channels on the TV by entering 0711 or 3308. These are the Jensen factory reset codes that will reset the TV to the original factory settings. By doing this, you will lose any information that you have stored in the TV, such as channel labels and schedules. You will have to program the TV again by going through the entire initial set up.

Hi! Try system restore first and check if that will remove the virus but if not then you can reset the machine to factory defaults by pressing ALT+F10 during start up or when the acer logo appears on your screen.Follow the prompts and you should be able to reset the computer to factory image.Make sure you back up important files because it will wipe the system clean.hope this helps...
