This 8500 most every morning has the error requesting replacement of the cleaning tray. The tray is new and just opening the door, removing then re-inserting the tray clears the error until the printer sits inactive for a while. Anyone have an idea? Of course the printer just went out of warranty last month.
What I have seen cause that is some of the ink has seeped behind the tray and is allowing it to just barely break the sensor that tells the machine the tray is in the proper position.
Getting the ink removed from behind the tray resolved that issue.
